Winter Group Prenatal Class

Service Description

These group prenatal classes are taught by a Registered Nurse and will outline: * Changes to the body, cervical changes and what to expect during labour * Positions during labour, relaxation techniques/ pain management and when to go to the hospital * The role of the support person during labour and the postpartum period * Medical Interventions while in labour, vagina and c-section deliveries, Informed Consent and asking the right questions * Skin to skin, newborn procedures, and newborn care * Infant sleep, feeding and responding to your baby’s cues * Maternal mental health and changes to your relationship
